Saint McNicholas? This mysterious visitor seen
on Christmas day is none other than Sidney Graham,
who arrived from Scotland—complete with bagpipes,
to entertain his family. Surprised relatives were Mr.
and Mrs. George Graham of Robson, Mr. and -Mrs.
Arthur Graham and a niece, Jordan Watson. Thanks
for a great performance!! :

Fireside Inn ‘ :

At Banjo's in the Fireside Inn the house band, San
Jose West, will begin playing at 9 p.m. Party favours
will be handed out and the staff is pleases to announce
there will be no cover charge for the evening.

Sandman Inn : F

At Dexter's in the Sandman Inn, the variety dance band’
Crossroads, hits the stage at 8 p.m. and will continue until.
2 am.; There will be a $10 cover charge, which will
include a cold buffet to be served later on that evening.

Hi Arrow f
--Brewskies in the Hi Arrow will be featuring the band
No Excuse for its New Year's bash. The rock n’ roll
band will play from 9:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. There will be
a $10 cover charge and a hot buffet will be served for
$5. Party favours will also be available.

In Robson...

The Lion's Head Pub

John Cresswell will be performing at the Lion's Head
Pub this New Year's Eve. There will be no cover charge.
Free midnight snack.

In Nelson...

The Civic Hotel .

The talents of Joey Byme will be featured at the Civic
Hotel New Year's Eve. This pianist and vocalist from
Vancouver will play a big part of this New Year's bash.
Party favours will be available and there is no cover
charge.

Lord Nelson

The Nine Pints Club in the Lord Nelson will be host-
ing a New Year's Eve party which will include a buffet
dinner and music from the Spokane station KDRK.
Tickets are $25 a couple.

will feature the music of CKQR's music machine begin-
ning at 9:30.-Party favours will be available as well as a
cold buffet. Doors will be open until 3 a.m.. ‘Tickets are
$9.50 each.

InTrail....

* Terra Nova Motor Inn :

The New Year's Eve party at Rosario's includes the
rock n' roll sounds of H.B. Concept. A group from Van-
couver, tickets are $10 in advance or S12 at the door.
Party favours will be available. ;

The Crown Point Hotel

The house band, Eastem Breeze will be performing at
the New. Year's party at the Crown Point Hotel. Party
favours will. be available and a buffet will be served.
Cover charge unknown.

Arlington Pere :

The Arlington is featuring a local three-piece band led
by Skip Fraser. A hot and cold buffet will be served and
party favours will be available. As well, door prizes can
be won throughout the evening. Cover charge is $10.

In Rossland...

Uplander Hotel

Two parties will be taking place at the Uplander
Hotel, Just-4-Kicks, a top 40 dance band, will be play-
ing in the Powder keg Pub, while Tommy and the T-
Birds will be playing in the ballroom. A midnight

snack will be served in the Powder Keg pub.
