DUNRAVEN’S DAUGHTER TO WED. Lady Charlotte Will Marry a Distinguished Irishman. London, Oct. 3.—Among the approach- ing fall wedding none are more im- portant than that of Lady Rachel Charlotte Wyndham-Quin, eldest daughter of the earl of Dunreven, and Hon. Mr. Fitzgerald of Glyn Custle, Limerick, who hears the historic title of the Knight of the City, which unites two of Ireland’s oldest families. The Dunraven family is one of the few of Celtic origin in the Irish peerage. Its ancesstors, chiefs of the clan of Hy-Ifearnan, were represented at a very early period in a barony of the county of Clare, which derived its name ‘of Inchiquin from them. The family was raised to the peerage in 1822. .The present earl suc- ceeded to the title in 1871 and has two daughters living, the elder, the prospec- tive bride, being now 25 years old. title of the Knight of Glyn was created by an ancestor of the present. owner, John Fitz Thomas Fitsgerald, lord of Decies and Desmond, who was » chief- tain in Ireland in medieval times.
