C.—Thursday night was a busy night for the candidates taking the Senior First Aid course at Kinnaird. It was back to school again as exams were held in the Kin- naird elementary school. Examiners for the exams were: Mrs. J. Williamson, Mr. Crispin, Mr. S. Parker and Mr. B. Barren, from Trail, and Mr. .J. Dalziel, Mr. C. King, M. Ver- zuh and A. B. Condy* Complete results will be pub- lished in this paper next week as to press time all results were not yet completed. MUIRHEAD STARS AGAIN KINNAIRD, B. C. Once again Miss Donna Muirhead has brought Badminton honours to Kinnaird from the tournament completed in Trail last week- end. Miss Muirhead captured the women’s consolation singles as well as the ladies open doubles. Miss Joyce Swihart teamed with Donna in that event. Miss Joyce Swihart had also advanced to the finals of the ladies open singles but was beat out in the final: game. Both girls are members of the Kinnaird Badminton Club. UNITED CHURCH WA Goodwill Circle met at the home of Mrs. L. A. Grunerud on Thursday night with nine mem- bers and two visitors present. Articles were completed for the Spring sale. Contest winners were Mrs. J. Samson, Mrs. W. H. Houston and Mrs. Gladys Tufts and the booster prize, do- nated by Mrs. L. C. Johnston, was won by Mrs. D. Wallace. The Rainbow circle met at the home of Mrs. C. W. Fraser on Thursday night with ten mem- bers and four visitors present.
