Nick was born In Swan River, Saskatchewan ‘on February 11, 1909 to the famity of John and Annie Sherstobitoft For the first four years of his ie, he lived at Swan River, Saskatchewan, then in 1914, the family moved to British Columbia and settied in Glade. On Aprit 29, 1932 he married Margaret Holuboff, also of Glade. In the ensuing years, a daughter and three sons were born - Ann, Nick, Willy ‘and Stan. Then in: 1957 , the family moved to Thrums, B.C. where he lived untit he passed way. His working years were spent In many activities - logging, mining, fruit growing Industry, and the railway, and he retired as a carpenter In 1973. Nick had a unique character is good sense of humour and easy going nature. His love of singing brought many lighthearted moments and smiles to all who knew him. His young-at-heart spirit ‘and approach to life helped him in communicating and providing support and understanding to everyone. His priority in tife was to treat everyone with love and kindness.
