The church was decorated with candelabra with white candles on each side of the alter, with six roses and greenery. The bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Markin of Thrums, and the groom's mother, Ingeborg Frass of Nelson, attended the cere- mony. Bob Kenyon was the officiating pastor and or. ganist Mary Larsen played the Wedding Song. The bride was given in marriage by her father Alex Markin. She wore a floor-length satin wedding gown featur- ing a long train. The yoke of the bodice was decorated in mother of pearl and the long mutton-styled sleeves were satin and lace. The bride's waist-length veil was held by a lace stand up headpiece with silk flow loom jewelry was white pearl earrings. The bride's bouquet was made of fresh flowers, dusty rose-colored rueben lilies and roses, white stephanotis and fern. The maid of honor was Valerie Zoobkoff of Slocan Park and Debbie Moojelsky of Glade was bridesmaid. They wore floor-length, dusty rose dresses of silk taffeta with V neck lines, gathered puffed sleeves and wide waist bands. They carried bouquets of silk flowered, dusty rose, rueben lilies and pink roses accented with white flowers and greenery.
