James Brewster has just returned from the Wild Horse country, where he has been to make preparations for com- mencing work on the Pathfinder group, - consisting of the Moonbeam and -Path- finder. This.group lies near the head of Huckleberry creek, on the north fork of Wild ‘Horse, five miles frém the townof Ymir and about three miles from the Nelson & Fort Shepard railway. Mr. Brewster brought down some very fine samples of rock trom the Patnfinder, of which he is having an assay. It is ‘atat- ed by those who have seen the rock that it is among the very.best that has been brought out of that district, and it will no doubt show large values in. gold. He reports about fifteen feet of snow on-the ~ level near the Summit mine, which ie owned and now being worked by the Lindblock brothers.
