McRae of Passmore, and James Morris French, only son of Mra, E. M. French and the late Mr. E. M. French of Nelso1 on. To the strains of John Denver's “Annie's Song”, the bride . was escorted by her father towards Rev. K. Vickers, who officiated at the double- ring: ceremony. Her gown, which had been sewn by her mother, was of polyester satin and lace, featuring a self-train and fashioned with long, lace sleeves and a matching lace in- sert at the empire waistline. A lace-covered Juliet cap with pearl-centered flowers held her three-tier finger-tip veil of scalloped tulle, edged with tiny lace flowers, and she carried an - old-fashioned bouquet of red yores and white daisies on her. For jewellery, the bride wore a necklace which had been her mother's wedding gift from her husband on her wedding day, 24 years ago. A delicate - pin brooch belonging to her great aunt, was also worn by © the bride. The groom’s suit had been worn by his father. on his wedding day. Attired in a pale blue poly-” ester gown, styled with a V- neckline and short capped © sleeves was maid of honor, Miss Debbie Sawtsky of Langley, B.C. A blue, floppy: wide- brimmed hat completed her en- semble, and she carried a basket of blue carnations and white daisies. Miss Michelle Verigin of Slocan Park was flower girl, dressed in a long gown: of pale blue satin with ruffled nylon overlay, a stand- up collar and‘ short, puffy sleeves. Her flowers were similar to that of the senior attendant, Best man was Tim Hen- thorne of Kelowna and head usher was the bride's brother, Dale McRae of Trail. Also sharing ushering duties were Keven McRae of Passmore, another brother of the bride, and Delmar Silverthorne of Nelson. : For the reception at Win- law Hall, the bride's mother received wearing a princess: style floral polyester crepe gown with a sheer nylon over- lay of lime green and a corsage of yellow roses. The groom's mother wore a deep rose lace suit and a corsage of pink roses. ie hall was decorated with bells and streamers in the wedding colors of blue and white. The. three-tier wedding cake, decorated with white roses with. -blue tips, . and flanked by blue candles, stood on a small table in front of the head. table.
