Just how soon depends to a. great extent on you, As your donations come in, they are being invested in the ice plant installation, We are getting very good value for your money as We think you will agree. First, Iet us consider the ice plant itself — true, it is not brand new but it is in excellent condition, and Ed Nemrava has done a wonderful job of getting it ready for operation. A new plant was far beyoud our means. We want to publicly acknow- ledge the important contribution made to the District by the T. Eaton Company of Vancouver and Interior Breweries Ltd. of Creston. The $1,000 we paid Ea- ton’s for the refrigeration plant was only a'small fraction of its value while the condenser, re- ceiver tank and three-phase elec- trical equipment donated by In- terfor Breweries saved several hundred dolalrs in new equip- ment. “: hearty vote of ‘thanks is extended to these two firms. Most of the major compon- ents of the ice plant are now in place fh the brand-new machine room at the south end of the arena, The concrete trench for the large header pipes across the south end of the rink has been constructed and the header pipes themselves will soon be ready for installation. ‘The clectrical power service for the machine room will be in hand shortly.
