Funeral service is being | held today at 9 p.m. from the chapel of the Castlegar Funcral Home for William Douglas Carrle, 62, resident of 1204 - 9th Ave, 8, Castlegar, who died Sunday in the Castlegar and District Hospital, Born Nov, 4, 1913, at Arbroath, Scotland, Mr. Carrle came to Eastern Canada when 14 years of age. A logger by trade, he worked throughout Canada in both logging and construction, In 1950 he came to Prince Rupert where he took up employment with CanCel as an Industrial First Aider, Mr. Carrie married in Prinee Rupert in June of 1968, retiring from CanCel in 1974. That same year he came to | Castlegar. He was an amateur photo- grapher and worked in little theatre while in Prince Rupert. He was also an ardent square dancer and member of the Castlegar and District Senior Citizens, Mr, Carrie is survived by his wife, Jean; three step- daughters, Mrs. Zane (Joyce) Wray of Nanaimo, Mrs, Herb (Lois) Grey of Campbell River a Court News Donald Vernon Low Pleaded not guilty in provincial court Jan, 28 on two separate charges.
