ishing touch for the bride's attire.

white satin bodice and tails with a
royal blue skirts.

Prince George. Ushers were Mike
Schwartz, Mike Horton, Mike

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43
in-Prince George with Master of
Ceremonies Jeff Peardon of
Prince George leading the recep-
tion. Out-of-town guests arrived

Grace Postnikoff of Shoreacres |
passed away at the Trail Regional |
Hospital at the age of 56 years, °."!°

Local kids have lots to do during Halloween

But these Halloween fun and games required grown- up planning

“OQoooooh! What a scary
Halloween that was, :

“All sorts of little creatures were
running about, goblins, ghosts,
witches, clowns, cowboys, drag-
ons and more.

‘There were plenty of things for the
kids to do on a Halloween in
Castlegar, besides Trick-or-Treating.

‘The grades three and four classes
from Kinniard Elementary took a
short break from classes to sing for
the' residents of Castlevicw Care
Centre,

‘The young entertainers put on a
great show—in costume—while
the residents, some of whom were
also dressed up, enjoyed every
moment,

: For the really young ones, the
Castlegar Community Recreaticn
Complex offered a Pre-School
Halloween Party. There was a very
good tum out for this bash, plenty
for the kids to do and those chil-
dren who participated were wear-

ing fantastic costumes.

ly had a tonne of fun.

‘Moving across the river, the
Robson Volunteer Firefighters
utlilized the Robson Hall in order
to provide hot chocolate and hot
dogs to cold trick-or-treaters. The
firefighters had an excellent
turnout again this year, serving
both the children as well as their
parents with hot coffee.

For the tenth year in a row,
these gallant trick-or-treaters and
their dedicated parents have had a
warm place to go to on a cold
October night. Thanks once again
to the Robson Firefighters!!!
