Very Sensational Case In Police Court This Morning. “He said he loved me dearly and wanted me to marry him,’”’ said Ada Bunston in police court this morning, in which some very sensational evidence was introduced. The case was that in which Joseph Shaw claimed that the fair defendant stole a diamond pin from him. He put the pin in his vest pocket .| ke said, and when he left Miss Bunston’s place the next morning ‘t was missing. She met Shaw and said he was looking for a place to rent. Hecalled then and called often afterwards she said. She alleged that he made love to her and’ said he hada fine ranch at Calgary where they would go to live. He offered her the pin and she asked J. Kirkup, an old friend of hers, if it would be right to ac- cept. Hesaid he saw noreason why she should not.
