Sales'on'the exchange showed a slight increase over yesterday’s total, but were again far below those of previous days. Tamarac jumped into leading'place with sales of 12,000 shares .at prices ranging all-the way from 12c to 123{c, and closed at 12c bid, a quarter cent below yesterday. - Giant came'next with gooo, but lost ground, the low- est price obtained’ being 7 3-4c and the closing price 7c.
