Five months of planning for the Fourth Annual Home Support Day culminated May 30 when the event was held in the Legion Hall in Castle- gar. Excellent speakers pre- sented seminars on stress management, and assertive- ness training. More than 120 home sup- port workers from as far away as Golden attended the sessions. A banquet was also held followed by humorous skits made up by the home support workers. This event concluded the guild’s spring activities. In service training sessions will start again in the fall.
