Faulty insulation sparks suit WINNIPEG (CP) — Winnipeg couple has filed suit against a home insulation firm, Manitoba Hydro, the federal government and a Crown corporations for dam- age caused by urea forma- Idehyde insulation in their home. Jo Ann and Donald Lip- pens filed a claim in Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench last week alleging the insulation, installed in 1977, has dam- aged interior walls and caused them discomfort. A court official said it is the first such suit he has seen in this jurisdiction. However, the Lippens’ lawyer Al Mack- ling said a number of similar claims will soon be filed. The Lippens statement of claims says foam was in- « add stalled in their home with the help of a federal grant.
