If an abrasive cleaner is used on * the inside of the rear win- dow, electric defogger ele- ments could be damaged. For the same reason, never place decals on the inside of the rear window, as they may have to be scraped off later. Windows can be cleaned with an ordinary liquid household glass cleaner. Such a cleaner will effec- tively remove normal build- up of tobacco smoke and dust film that may be caused by materials used in various vinyls, plastics and cloth inside the vehicle. If your windshield is not clear after using the wind- shield washer and wipers or if the wiper blade “chatters” when running, it may be caused by wax or other material on the blade or windshield.
