The contractor, A.C. Tech Construction of Kelowna, will complete work on the east side of Columbia Avenue between Ist Street and 3rd Street by May 22, Sookachoff said. They will continue working south on the east side of Columbia Avenue from 3rd Street to 6th Street. Sookachoff said that portion is expected to be finished by mid- June, with the contractors then turning around and heading north on the west side of Columbia. “That gives us two lanes of traffic,” he explained.
