The Applied Arts and Science Division (Technology Programme) Students will be eligible for admission to the Applied Arts and Science (Technology Programme) if they meet the following requirements: Graduation on the University (Academic/Technical) Programme from a British Columbia Senior Secondary School. Graduation on the new Vocational Programmes or the old General Programme from a British Columbia Senior Secondary School. Students with deficiencies in Mathematics or Science may be required to register in special College Preparatory Courses. Completion of the equivalent of British Columbia Secondary School graduation from some other school system. Acceptance by special arrangement in view of the candidate’s particular experience, maturity, background and interest. The College Preparatory Programme Students will be eligible for admission to the College Preparatory Programme on the following basis: Mature students who possess sufficient standing on the High School University (Academic/Technical) Programme to allow them to meet the required prerequisites for College Preparatory Courses at the Grade XII level. Students who possess high school graduation on the General Programme who wish to enter the Liberal Arts and Science (University Transfer Programme) Division or the Applied Arts and Science (Technology Programme) Division and who demon- strate through testing and academic record the capability of successfully completing the College Preparatory Courses. Acceptance by special arrangement, in view of candidate’s particular experience, maturity, background and ability. Completion of college entrance examinations considered acceptable to the College (for mature students only). The Continuing Education Programme Students will be eligible for entrance to the Continuing Education Programme on the following basis: Students who possess a special interest in a given field of study. Students seeking to improve specific skills. Students seeking to learn new approaches or techniques. 18
