community service in Philadelphia as a tribute
to the mothers of that elty. Since that time the
idea has spread throughout the United States

and Canada as’ well as to numerous other
countries, its purpose ‘being to give a’ public
expression of our love and reverence for. the
mothers of the world.

Wherever Mother's Day is ‘observed, it has
an appeal for everycne. For everybody has or,
has had a mother and‘ the-love of women‘for
