Honda is
recalling
180,000 cars

Honda Canada Ine. is re-
calling 180,000 Civics, Ac-
cords and Preludes for in-
spection of possible front
and rear suspension-arm
corrosion

The recall affects own-
eres of 1973 to '79 Civics,
1977 to "79 Accords and
1979 Preludes.

The potential problem
appears to be limited to
cars in areas where road
salt is used. There have
been no reports of injury
related to this problem, the
company said in a release.

Honda will pay for nec-
essary repairs.

About 967,000 Hondas
are being recalled in the
United States for the same
reason.
