The size of the Class of ‘84 still requires the use of the regional recreation complex for the exercises, but the graduation ball and luncheon refreshments will be held at Stanley Humphries Secondary School gym and activity room. Chairman of the exercises will be Mr. Don King, administrative assistant. The invocation will be given by Rev. Charles Balfour. Greeting will include those from Mrs. Doreen Smecher, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, School District No. 9 and Ald. Bob MacBain, on behalf of the City of Castlegar. Stanley Humphries Secondary School Principal, L.C. Farrell will address the graduating class and ex- tend wishes on behalf of staff and students. Prior to the presentation of the candidates for graduation, the 1984 valedictorian, Sean Bondaroff will deliver the valedictory address. The candidates for graduation will be presen- ted by Miss B. Kavic and Mr. Jim Crawford, while scholarships and bursaries will be presented by various local and regional groups whose represen- tatives will be introduced by Miss Kavic and ad- ministrative assistant, Mr. R. Dodds. Major award winners will be presented by Ald. MacBain, Mr. J: Palmer, Mrs. B. Horcoff and Mr. N. Sather. Between 4:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. grads and their families and friends will have time. for privately arranged dinner parties at various community restaurants and homes.
