It was a “fine” game for the Rockies, who are second in the West division, but not so good for the fourth-place West division Rebels. The Rockies didn't put the puck in the net until 10:58 in the first period. Randy Rund- berg scored the goal with The Rebels’ first goal came 66 seconds later. Scored by Terry Nazaroff and assisted by Chuck Lind, the shot had the 862 hometown fans screaming. But the fans not only screamed when the Rebels scored. They also found themselves out of their seats many times when they dis- agreed with referee Sam Keith's penalties, The Rebels received 32 minutes in penalties and the Rockies 41 minutes. The Rockies went on to score their fifth goal at 2:08. Larry Geertsen Than at 14:09, Glen Dou- cette scored to give the visit- ing team its second goal. Rundberg and Herb Chisan assisted him, The Rockies’ third goal came at 16:10 when Rebel Jim Nazaroff's shot towards the Invermere end of the rink, hit Rockies Jerome Thorne’s skate. Thorne passed it to Troy Hromadnik, who shot it in the net to give his team a 3-0 lead at the end of the opening period. The Rockies recorded their fourth goal at the 1:02 mark of the second period with Rundberg scoring and Dou- cette and Chisan assisting. Dan MacDonald flew out of the goal to stop a shot and Mike Mullis put the puck in the open net. Dan Gagne and Steve Parker as- sisted. Watts, despite re- Ports to the contrary, wants to play in the Canadian Foot- ball League next year with Ottawa Rough Riders — but with a new contract, His agent, Adbul Jalil, has been quoted as saying in New York that Watts wants out of his Ottawa contract and would prefer to play in the United States where New York Jets of the National Football League hold his professional rights. “I think that is a misquote by someone in New York or whoever go that out,” Watts said yesterday in a telephone interview from Oklahoma City. “I never said I didn't want to come back to Ottawa.
