A smorgas- bord supper was enjoyed by the - 120 guests who gathered from Peterborough, Ont.; Redcliffe and Lethbridge, Alta.; Nakusp, Coquitlam, Delta, Burnaby, Nelson and Castlegar. * During the’ supper, a spe- cial “Happy Birthday” was sung to Mr. Herman Skaaning of Trail, great uncle of the groom. The guests later danced to the music of the “New Company”. The three-tier wedding cake was set ona table covered with’ a hand-crocheted cloth which had been made by the groom’s grandmother of Leth- ‘bridge; Alta, Clusters of blue _ bells formed garlands around the layers of the cake. Four fili- gree bells. with net - were featured between. the layers, which were divided by Grecian pillars. The cake was topped . with the famous “Kissing Couple” under an arch.
