‘Barty De Paoll with Rossland
Partner Takes Men's Doubles

Congratulations go out to
Barry De Paoli who teamed up
with Blais Szekely of Rossland
totake the men's doubles in the
Kamloops Invitational Tourna-
ment held in Kamloops two
weeks ago. Barry also made it
to the semi-finals in the men’s
singles. Well done, Barry!

Last Saturday, Sunday and
Monday, Bruce Murray and
Mike McLeod from the BCLTA
were In Castlegar and held
clinies for approximately 43
interested adults and juniors.

The clinics were very
success{ul and through their
expert coaching, everyone
found thelr weaknesses and bad
habits.

On Saturday, the finals of
the round-robin mixed doubles
tournament in Trail was held.

Farrel made it to the semi-

Camps this year. These are a
‘three-night, four-day campout
for children ages 10 to 13 years.
‘The camps are planned in two
sessions, one for children 10 to
12 and the other for 13-year-
olds.

An afternoon clinic for
canoe handling and safety will

outings.

Activities which will be
undertaken on these camps
include the building of shelters,
hiking, compass reading and
nature crafts, Cost of the trip
