It isn’t nice to envy -people-I know, but really, that is one of the nicest homes I have ever been in. Wednes- day we had “company coming for’ supper and I had so much to do and the sun was shining so brightly and it was such a beautiful day that we went fora walk instead. Oh yes, we ate and well too, but the house didn’t get done. Thursday was of course paper day — that’s always fun, then circle meeting for the U.C.W.A. in the evening. We all went to Mrs. G. Hagen’s house. Friday we managed to get to civil a few be- ment bedroom, garage, - fur- - nace, wired for electric range. eo Gerry Wanless, 5th and C-1-27 HOUSEHOLD “ARTICLES, RA- ps OLD HOME: TOWN “diophonegraph table model, 1 kitchenette set, 1 Westing- house washing machine, i couch, 1 fivé-horse Johnson outboard and boat 14’. Of course that is just a matter of opinion and like- ly because I have little ones too, * but I just love to see them dance. Actually it was all very worth-while and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. One “very surprising thing-— I came out even on the ticket money. I usually sell the tickets and mix the money all up with mine and at the end have to make up the difference. Is that legal? Any- way — praise be — this time We are square. In case any of you were won- dering which of the Gergley twins were which, Paul sat next to Les Campbell on the right and Ted played the clarinet on the left hand side. I won that bet’ — now I wish I had bet real money. Saturday was the birthday of a very good friend of mine. We don’t exchange gifts any more so this time I took her some air fern just for good measure. Couldn’t remember if she had any or not but I have been want- ing some for a long time. I remember one time trying to get my mother to buy my grand- mother some roller skates for her birthday. We visited for a little and then I left with little bits’ of air fern from each of her vases. She will have to fill up \he spaces with what Tr brought — is that legal? Any- way typical. Happy birthday anyway, my dear, you can be thinking of what you want for mine I'll see, what I can do about it. All of which reminds me my sister is having a birthday Wednesday. She will be two ~“ years older than I will, ah me! These birthdays do creep up on a@ guy. Oh well, go ahead and have a happy birthday anyway. Order Office ‘Opens Today The. T. Eaton Co.
