jal Reletions Trust, was enthusiastically walcomed to
Robson at a reception given in her honor by the Robson
Women’s Ix ,atitute at the Recreation hall: on Thursday _
night, April 19th. About one hundred and: fifty people

‘| from Gastlegar, Kinnaird, Brilliant, South Slocan and

Robson gathered to. meet. her, and to enjoy a--variety’
program, Teleat from different communities helped. to
make the evening a great success. Mrs. Davis and. Mrs.
Chalmers were each presented with corsages by Mrs. We
Waldis,. president of the Robson WoI. .Mrs. Davis spoke
to a most attentive audience on Women's Institute/work
in Britain, and stressed the need for better understand-
ing of problems. confronting Britain and Canada. -

guest in to Nelson:on Monday, showing her. some, of the
Beauty Spots of the district. After speaking in Nelson
on. Monday. afternoon; Mrs. Davis left for Celgary the
