IN MEMORY

On Saturday, August 22, 1992, Elizabeth Vanjoff of
Castlegar passed away at the age of 74 years.

Mrs. Vanjoff was born December 3, 1917 at Grand
Forks, B.C. She lived for a short while at Shoreacres,
and then moved to Kylemore, Saskatchewan. After a
short time in Saskatchewan, the family returned to
Grand Forks, B.C. She married Nicholas Vanjoff in
Vancouver, B.C. February 9, 1947. They returned to
Grand Forks and bought a farm which they operated un-
til Mr. Vanjoff’s retirement in 1969 when they moved to
Blueberry Creek and eventually into Castlegar.

Mrs. Vanjoff enjoyed gardening, cooking, singing,
travelling and her family.

She is survived by her husband Nick, 2 daugk
Sonia and husband Jack Cheveldave, and Lillian Zibin
all of Castlegar. 4 grandchildren, Debbie Martin,
Coraline Ckeveldave, Terry and Bobby Zibin. Brother,
John-Planidin of Burnaby, B.C.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Marva
Planidin, sister, Molly Foodikoff and brother, William
Planidin.

Funeral service was held at the Castlegar Funeral
Chapel on Monday and Tuesday with burial in Park
Memorial Cemetery.

Should friends desire, contributions may be made to
ISKRA, Box 760, Grand Forks, B.C. or the Heart &
Stroke Foundation, Box 3023, Castlegar B.C.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the
Castlegar Funeral Chapel

September 8, 1992, when tenders will be opened in public

A security deposit/surety bid bond will be required (in accordance with
