Last Friday evening I

was at the Rossland-Nelson
hockey game and I ran into
Jim Markle, former
president of the KIJBL. He
was telling me be is going
to get in touch with former
Warrior players to get an
alumni game going in
Rossland during the
holiday season. It's the
game when old-time
players get together and
play the present-day crop.
There have been some good
games in the past and since
it is always played in a
festive mood, ,t delights the
fans. The players enjoy
returning to their old
