Featured yvith the band will be both the SHSS girls’ choir and KJSS girls’ choir under the direction of Miss B. Kavic, and the SHSS junior band.: Significant in this. concert is the fact that this is the twelfth year Mr. Fishwick has been with the band. * The group had its beginning in thé? tommunity when the Le- gion .band under Gus Leitner was formed. It continued under the direction of Bob Graham, the first music’ teacher at SHSS, Jock Hawkins, a former member of the Legion band, who now lives in Slocan, is still with us as critie and friend.
