Festival of Sports, players have entered ‘from as far away as Fort Worth, Texas and Thun- der Bay, Ont., with many entries from Washington and Montana, The East and West Kootenays are also well cover- ed. Some great golfers from Vancouver. and Mission: as well as tho Okanagan and Red Deer, Alta. are showing up in force. The tournament is not just geared for the low handicaps, but for every golfer as, the handicaps range from 0—38 and broken down to eight flights. We kick-off tomorrow with a practice round followed by a wine and cheese party which is included ‘with your entry. On Saturday it’s a shotgun start at 7.30 a.m. and then one at 12 noon. Be’ early’ for registration. A big steak barbe- cue followed by.a dance,’ which is open to all golfers and guests, is’ also planned. Sunday will be a 7.30 a.m. shotgun start except for the top 12: players in each flight. Presentations will’be made later in the afternoon.
