Educating the soul

Spirit who alone can open our
hearts and minds to the gra-
cious presence of our Lord Je-
sus Christ. Even with the
presence of Christ within us
we still are involved in a
tremendous struggle as St.
Paul himself had to admit:
“For what I do is not the good I
want to do!” ‘(Romans 7:19)

There is a place for tradi-
tion, to be sure. In this case,
however, it had blinded the
