doiley. Raffle tickets on an afghan to be drawn in mid-June
were taken care of by Slim and ‘Thomas.

Attending the bake table were Phyllis Nickerson, Mary

The white elephant table was handled by Ruth Maze,

Mary Ellen and Bob Cormier. The kitchen was well taken

After a busy year-end of
catering for Christmas fes-
tivities, the members of the
Slocan Valley Women's In-
stitute began the new year
with the planning of a “coffee
time” raffle.

Members will make items

be in December. The 1963
raffle was won by Mrs. Kathy
Bone of Slocan.

A Red Cross loan cupboard
will be housed in the W.I.
Hall for use in the com-
