Tass said a new pumping station has been built to take water to Kiev from the Desna River, a tributary of the Dnieper which flows through the city and supplies almost half its drinking water. By Pastor Morley Soltys Tabernacle LIVING EXAMPLES In Jn. 13:35 we read: “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another.” And in Matt. 7:16: shall know them by fruits.” Many other scriptures can be found in the Bible that y how we who call our selves Christians (born again) must live according to the standards and lifestyle set for us. We must not be ashamed of what and who we are in Christ. We must show forth by living example what Christ has done within our lives. He has changed us and is willing to do the same for those who see our example. This living example does not come by preaching to everyone you meet or han ding out gospel tracts and “Ye their singing on street corners, even though these have their time and place. It does not come just by shouting, testifying and jumping up and down but as Bud Robinson states: “I'm concerned about how he walks when he lands on terra firma.” Our daily walk either helps or hinders the gospel by the examples we set: “See then that ye walk cir cumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil” (Eph. 5:15, 16) How true this is. We are to live out the gospel and show forth what being a Christian really is. This living example comes only be being yourself in Christ and allowing Christ to live in and through you. It comes by being that which has changed you and that which lives inside you. It is being Christ-like. Henry M. Stanley, a al nalist, wrote after spending four months with David Livingstone, “I grant you he is not an angel, but he approaches to that being as near as the nature of a living man will allow.” Later, in speaking of his conversion, Stanley said, “It was not Livingstone’s prea- ching that converted me. It was Livingstone’s living!” So before you call yourself a Christian or a follower of God, check what is inside you. Is it Christ? Is it a religious spirit? Or is it Satan himself? For Christ is the only one who can change you and make you what the word Christian means: little Christs or Christ-like; living examples of the real thing, the real birth that has taken place when one has accepted Christ as one’s own personal savior If you are not satisfied with your life and do not have real peace of mind and have found that no matter how religious you become, there is something missing, why don't you right” now ask Christ to make himself real? Ask Him to come into your life and ask Him to forgive you all the sins you have committed. When you do this, you will then begin to know what it means to be a living example and to have the peace of God living inside of you. For those of you who know already what I have been talking about and have ex perienced the change that Christ makes in one's life, I encourage you to grow more in Christ and to pray, study His word, worship and praise Him, and strive to be the best living example you can be. Oh yes, you might fail once in a while, But continue on and remember, “I can do all things through which strengthens me.” hunts, But overview. on them.” house on the NEW BOOK Settlers come alive By ROB BULL Canadian Press Take three 19-century Scottish immigrant families.
