In a win-win deal for both the Castlegar Rebels and the .

.D.C.K, the real, winners were kids between the ages of
six and ten who wanted to learn or hone their hockey
skills. In exchange for free ice time during the pre-season
the team provided players to instruct twice a week | for
eight weeks. Dwayne Dergousof, Mike Korzeno
Tyson French teach beginners on Mondays and David
Green and Chris Postnikoff handle the advanced group
on Wednesdays. They have skill specific drills, but the
emphasis is on fun and the scrimmages are the highlight -
learn while playing. : :
