PROVINCIAL UPGRADING

— The BC Ministry of Advanced Education, grants a
certificate which is the equivalent of high school
graduation.

— Courses at this level in mathematics, biology,
chemistry, physics, computer studies, student
success, social studies, and English are available.

— Students may elect to take one or more courses,
earn post-secondary pre-requisites, or work
toward certification.

BC ADULT GRADUATION
DIPLOMA “THE ADULT DOGWOOD”

To be eligible to graduate with an “Adult Dogwood,”
students 18 years of age or over must have
completed five courses. Courses and credits can be
counted from post-secondary institutions, secondary
schools, and often from workplace or other learning
establishments.

Selkirk College awards a BC Adult Graduation
