CASTLEGAR NEWS, Thursday, March 18, 1975 - Mother-Daughter Guiding Banquet Held in Robson On Feb. 24 4 Mother and Daughter Banquet was held at the Robson Hall with 106 people present. ‘The program consisted of a parade of colors; a welcoming address by Mrs, Sharon Hus- ton; anda toast to the Queen by Brenda Barrass, A dinner followed, at which Grace was said by Mrs. R, Bro, After dinner a toast to the founder was presented by Eileen O'Neail. Renita Salekin presented a toast to the mothers followed by a response by Mrs. Porter. A toast to the Guiders was given by Bernice Holuboff, with a response by Mrs. R. Bro, + Guest speaker Mrs. D. Hill gave a short resume on "Guid- ing on the Move”. Following Mrs. Hill's talk was a presenta- + thon of frlendship ‘money, fol- lowed by badge presentations taps and retreat of colors.
