March is Red Croas month, To celebrate this special month, the Kinnaird Junior Secondary Red Cress Club held a Red Croas week in the school from March :3.- 7, The club had three fund- raising projects: a jelly-bean guessing contest, caramal . apple sale and a‘ cookie sale. The money raised is to go towards various projects in which the club is ‘involved . 8 to get the week off'to a good start. Ed Taylor, the Red Cross regional director from Kelowna, was the guest speaker. Special presenta- tions on the objectives of Red Cross and Red Cross’ in- volvement locally were given by Noella Tarasoff, Andrea Richards and Patty McKin- non, * Michelle Ratke was mis- tress of ceremonies and Li- ana Cheveldave gave the closing remarks.’ An excellent display. depicting many -aspects of Red Cross work at home and abroad was put in the main hallway, of the school, This display attracted much at- tention as there was some- thing of interest for every- one.
