It’s tough to come up with’some- thing original to do each New Year’s Eve. Some people tire of the bar scene, others have been to enough house parties, and watching Dick Clark just once is too.much for anyone. i Well, just short of telling you which house-party to crash, here’s a look at what’s happening around Castlegar for New Year's Eve. Banjo’s Pub is one of two places that isn’t charging. admission. Reservations are not being taken’ it’s first come first served. Snacks and party favors will be supplied. The live music will performed by Copperfield Sky. The only other free-admission event is at the Lion’s Head Pub in Robson. Party favors and a mid- night snack are included. Dennis Gunn is the entertainem and a large turnout is expected. For senior citizens, a New Year’s Eve party will be held at the Seniors Hall.
