numbers would be down with people

The network normally guarantees 90
per cent of its audience, he said

That means if the ratings show an
advertiser did not receive at least 90 per
cent.of the promised audience, CBC
would compensate

When this season’s advertising con
tracts were negotiated, the guarantee
was lowered to 80 per cent, Kretz said
