San Jose will play its home games next season at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Smythe Division teams will play an unbalanced schedule next season, with the addition of the Sharks making it a six-team alignment. ‘Vancouver will play the Los Angeles Kings, the Edmonton Oilers and San Jose three times each at the Pacific Coliseum and four times each on the road. The Canucks will have both the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets here four times and Vancouver plays those teams away three times each. Vancouver will have 10 of its 40 home games on Tuesday nights, with eight Sundays and eight Thursdays.
