To throw some light on a controver— Sial subject that has been discussed at some K.R.C. Recreation & Welfare Socie- ty, K.P.Lodge, as weil as Teen-Town, meetings, I would like to make public the financial statement of the 1948 Castlegar & District Teen-Town Soft Ball Club. . The three cars that provided. trans- portetion for the players to Vancouver playoffs were supplied by Messrs. W. Ozeroff, F. Fomenoff and N. Oglow. The amount of $80 per car was agreed upon by the executive of the local junior ball clubs of Castlegar, Kinnaird and Robson. This amount was to defray the expense of wear and téar on the cars, as well as gas and oil, etc. Amounts in excess of $80 appearing on the following statement, paid to the above-mentioned persons were,to the best of my knowledge, spent on meals, lodging and ball equipment for the players. 1948 DEBIT CREDIT Aug-30 Rectd from Mrs.J.
