Saturday's game was play- ed under strong winds. In the first half, an inexperienced Sandpoint team failed to take advantage of the wind, which * was in their favor, and were fortunate to turn around at half, time only two goals down. + The second half’ saw Castlegar take full advantage and go on to score another seven goals with their defence, very seldom in trouble. Final score was 9-0 Castlegar. Senday's game was again played with strong winds blow- < ing, this time across the field, * making ball control difficult Castlegar continued with a 43-8 pattern which proved to be very successful on Saturday.
