The wide variety of acts and per- formers combined to provide an evening Of good old-time family entertainment. The children in the audience enjoyed the clown acts immensely, as they filled the Castlegar Rec Complex with their screams and cheers of delight. Half-way through the show and it’s time for elephant rides. The kids and even some parents scramble for tickets and line up for their turn to climb onto the elephant's back. The acrobats, the trampoline acts, balancing and unicycle acts, juggling and contortions, all were performed with great skill and grace. The animals were fantastic. Performing bears played basketball, sat in chairs, danced, drove a car, drank from a very large baby bottle and even applauded each others acts. The performing canines jumped over hurdles, through hoops and skipped rope. ‘Story and photos by _, Brendan Halper
