Dick Hamilton had a great “blind side” win for Castlegar and shipped it off to Dale Patterson who scored. Jeremy Palmer put the Cossacks ahead with another try and the Cossacks had an 8 to 0 lead. Cranbrook came back with a converted try a few minutes later, but this was not enought as the Cossacks hung on grimly to their two-point lead.
