The invitation of the Kaslo zone to be the locale of the next convention was accepted. TURNBULL BACKS BRIDGE COMMITTEE Mr. “Turnbull advised the Bridge Committee that he was entirely in favor of the proposed Castlegar bridge and that he is keeping the matter of a survey before the Department of Public Works. He stated that the com- ing of Celgar would certainly in- crease traffic greatly and the bridge would be the only solu- tion. A general meeting will be held on Friday, March 14 of repre- sentatives. to the Bridge Com- mittee and the general public is invited.. A. guest speaker will be on hand for the meeting and all aspects of the bridge problem will be discussed.
